Senso's Privacy Policy
Version 1.2
Effective Date: July 1, 2025
This Privacy Policy outlines how we, Senso.ai Inc. (together with our affiliates, “Senso”, “we”,
“our” or “us”) gather, use, disclose, and handle your personal information when you utilize our
website and other platforms where we act as a data controller and provide a link to this Privacy
Policy. This includes, but is not limited to, your use of our website, products, application
programming interfaces (“APIs”), and services (collectively referred to as our “Services”) for
business purposes. We also detail your privacy rights and how you can exercise them in our
“Rights and Choices” section.
At Senso, we prioritize your privacy and are dedicated to safeguarding the information we
gather about you or from you. Our practices regarding Personal Information we collect when
you use our Services are described in this Privacy Policy. This policy does not apply to content
processed on behalf of our business offering customers, such as our API. Our use of such data
is governed by our customer agreements that cover access to and use of these offerings.
1. Collection of Personal Information
For the purpose of this policy, “Personal Information” refers to any data that identifies or relates
to you. We collect the following types of Personal Information:
Personal Information You Provide to Us Directly:
Identity and Contact Data: When you sign up for a Senso account, request information about
our Services, or apply for job opportunities, we may collect identifiers such as your name and
email address. If this information is not provided, we might not be able to manage your account.
We may also collect indirect identifiers (e.g., “USER12345”).
Payment Information: If you choose to purchase access to our Services, we will gather your
payment information. Without this information, we will not be able to process your payment.
Professional Information: If you apply for a job with us, we may gather professional data such
as your employment history, qualifications, and other information contained in your CV or
résumé.
Inputs and Outputs: Our Services allow you to submit text, files, or other materials ("Inputs"),
which generate responses based on these Inputs ("Outputs"). If you include personal
information in your Inputs, we will collect that data, and it may be reproduced in the Outputs.
However, Inputs and Outputs are subject to strict retention periods and we take measures to
anonymize such Inputs and Outputs when using them for our purposes as a controller.
User Interactions: As you interact with our Services, we collect information about the questions
you ask and the responses provided. This could include the timing, frequency, pattern, and
context of interactions with our Services. This information is anonymized and used to provide
analytics and insights.
Personal Information We Automatically Receive from Your Use of Our Services:
When you use our Services, we might receive certain technical data automatically. This
includes, but is not limited to, your device type, IP address, device identifiers, information about
your device and operating system, your browser information, internet service provider,
information about the links you click and pages you view, and other information about how you
use our Services. If your device experiences an error, we may also collect data about the error.
Personal Information We Collect Through Third-Party Language Models:
As we use third-party language models (for example, OpenAI's model) to provide our Service,
we may collect and use data provided by these models. Please note that while we anonymize
the data used for analytics and insights, we cannot control how these third-party providers
handle the data. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these third-party providers for
further information.
2. Use of Personal Information
We may use your Personal Information for the following purposes:
● To provide, administer, maintain, and analyze our Services;
● To improve our Services, conduct research, and develop new services;
● To communicate with you regarding our Services;
● To protect the integrity of our Services by preventing fraud, criminal activity, or misuse,
and ensuring the security of our IT systems, architecture, and networks;
● To facilitate business transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, or sales;
● To comply with legal obligations and processes, and to safeguard our rights, privacy,
safety, property, as well as those of our affiliates, you, and other third parties.
Aggregated or De-Identified Information:
We may aggregate or de-identify Personal Information such that it no longer identifies you. We
might use this information to analyze the effectiveness of our Services, to improve and add
features to our Services, and to conduct research. Occasionally, we may analyze general
behavior and characteristics of users of our Services and share aggregated information like
general user statistics with third parties, or make such information publicly available. We collect
aggregated information through our Services, cookies, and other means described in this
Privacy Policy. We will maintain and use de-identified information in an anonymous or de-
identified form, and we will not attempt to reidentify the information, unless required by law.
To generate analytics and insights:
We use the questions you ask and the responses provided by our Services to generate
analytics and insights. These insights may be provided to you or your organization to
understand usage patterns, improve user experience, or guide the development of new features
or services.
As previously stated, we may use data from third-party language models to provide our service.
Your interaction with these models might be used to improve our Services. We recommend you
review the privacy policies of these third-party providers for information on opting out of data
usage for model training.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Senso and our service providers use cookies, scripts, and similar technologies ("cookies") to
manage our Services and to gather information about you and your use of our Services. These
technologies help us recognize you, customize or personalize your experience, recommend
additional products or services, and analyze the use of our Services to make them more
beneficial to you.
These technologies also allow us to collect demographic and statistical data and provide this
information to our service providers to facilitate the delivery of their services.
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for facilitating your access to our Services and
ensuring your safety, as well as cookies or similar technologies for analytics. These
technologies assist us in improving and optimizing the experience we provide, for example, by
aiding us in measuring how visitors interact with our platforms. We may collect technical
information, such as pages visited and the time interval between clicks.
Most browsers permit you to remove or manage cookie functions and adjust your privacy and
security preferences. For information on how to do this, access the "help" section of your
browser or visit http://www.aboutcookies.org/how-to-control-cookies. However, please note that
disabling our cookies may prevent you from taking full advantage of our Services.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
Senso will disclose personal data to the following categories of third parties for the purposes
explained in this Privacy Policy:
- Affiliates: Senso shares the categories of personal data mentioned earlier among its affiliates
and related entities. Our affiliates may use this personal data in a manner consistent with this
Privacy Policy.
- Service providers & business partners: Senso may share the categories of personal data
described above with service providers and business partners for various business purposes,
including website and data hosting, compliance with industry standards, research, auditing, and
data processing. Pursuant to our instructions, these parties will access, process, or store
personal data only in the course of performing their duties to us.
- Business Account Administrators: When you join Senso in connection with a business
account, the administrators of that business account may access and control your Senso
account, including being able to access your Inputs and Outputs. In addition, if you create an
account using an email address belonging to your employer or another organization, we may
share the fact that you have an account and certain account information, such as your email
address, with your employer or organization to, for example, enable you to be added to their
business account.
Senso may also disclose personal data in the following circumstances:

will be disclosed as part of these corporate transactions.
- To comply with regulatory or legal requirements, ensure safety, and enforce our terms: We
may disclose personal data to governmental regulatory authorities as required by law, including
for tax or accounting purposes, in response to their requests for such information, or to assist in
investigations. We may also disclose personal data to third parties in connection with claims,
disputes, or litigation, when otherwise required by law, or if we determine its disclosure is
necessary to protect the health and safety of you or any other person, to protect against fraud or
credit risk, or to enforce our legal rights or contractual commitments that you have made.
- With individuals' consent: Senso will otherwise disclose personal data when you grant us
permission or direct us to disclose this information.
With Your Consent or At Your Direction: We may share anonymized analytics and insights
derived from your questions and responses with your organization or other third parties when
you provide us permission to do so or when you direct us to share this information.
If you access third-party services, such as social media sites or other sites linked through our
Services (e.g., if you follow a link to our Twitter account), these third-party services will be able
to collect personal data about you, including information about your activity on the Services. We
encourage you to read their data usage policies or other documentation if we link to another site
or service from our Services. Our linking to another site or service does not imply our
endorsement or representation of that third party.
5. Retention of Personal Information
We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected
it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
We determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Information based on the amount,
nature, and sensitivity of your Personal Information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized
use or disclosure of your Personal Information, whether we can achieve our purposes through
other means, and on applicable legal requirements.
For instance, we retain your Inputs and Outputs for a short period to improve our Services and
your experience. After this period, these data are deleted or anonymized.
6. Security of Personal Information
We take security seriously and have implemented security measures designed to protect your
Personal Information. These measures include encryption of data and using firewalls to protect
against unauthorized access to our systems. However, no system can be completely secure,
and we cannot guarantee that communications between you and Senso, the Services, or any
information provided to us in connection with the information we collect through the Services will
be free from unauthorized access by third parties.
We recommend that you do your part in maintaining the security of your data. For instance,
make sure your password is complex, unique, and never share it with anyone. If you believe
